Position: Consultant Psychiatrist / MBBS MRCPsych
Dr Saleem Tareen is a Consultant Psychiatrist to Trafford Neighbourhood team in Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust Previously he worked for Holywell, Antrim and Whiteabbey Hospital. He has been practicing psychiatry locally and internationally since 1995. He was clinical lead of Carrickfergus Community Mental Health Team. He is registered with the GMC (GMC No: 5204451) and is on the specialist register for General Adult Psychiatry. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and member of the Medical Protection Society.
Dr Tareen, as a private psychiatrist, works from Musgrave House and Malone Medical Chambers, Belfast, Northern Ireland. He has special interest in Adult ADHD. He also provides individualised treatment plans and follow ups. He has presented at various local and national seminars about Adult ADHD treatment.
